The Women's Land Army (WLA) was a British civilian organisation created during World War II so women could work in agriculture, replacing men called up to the military. Women who worked for the WLA were commonly known as Land Girls
The series Land Girls was commissioned by the Museum for English Rural Life. The work was exhibited at the South Hill Arts Centre, Bracknell in 2012.
